Dear Parents and Students,

Hello! The summer vacation of 2024 is approaching, and the Huailai County Education, Sports, Science and Technology Bureau hereby sends you the following tips:

1. Consciously resist illegal academic training. Any continuing training in Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry and other disciplines for primary and secondary school students, or in the name of non-disciplines, custodian classes, self-study rooms, counseling and housekeeping services, etc., violates the "Interim Measures for Administrative Punishment of Extracurricular Training". This kind of training is an unapproved violation of laws and regulations, and parents are requested to consciously resist it.

2. Rationally sign up for non-academic off-campus training. If you really need to participate in off-campus science and technology, culture, sports and art and other quality training, choose non-academic projects that children really like and are interested in to participate moderately, and keep in mind the "three musts" to ensure the safety of training.

First, be sure to check the qualifications of running a school. When choosing a training institution, parents should choose a formal training institution with "complete licenses".

Second, be sure to sign a formal contract. Parents should take the initiative to sign a contract with the training institution, focusing on important terms such as the items and amounts of fees, refund standards and methods, and dispute resolution channels and methods between the two parties.

Third, it is necessary to standardize the payment of fees. When parents pay training fees, they should pay attention to the fee standards of training institutions, do not pay at one time or pay for more than 3 months or 60 class hours in the form of recharge, time card, etc., and do not exceed 5,000 yuan, and refuse merchants to "buy more, give more", "discount promotion" and other means to carry out large pre-charges, and effectively prevent risks such as "difficult to refund" and "running away with money". After payment, ask for an official invoice or receipt and keep it properly.
