From 1 to 3 July, a delegation from the Parliamentary Seminar of Portuguese-speaking African Countries visited Guizhou. On the morning of the 3rd, the closing ceremony of the seminar for parliamentarians from Portuguese-speaking African countries was held in Guiyang, attended by Li Yong, vice chairman of the Social Construction Committee of the National People's Congress.
During the period in Guizhou, the seminar group went to Yingchuan Village, Baili Rhododendron Management District, Bijie City, to inspect the work of the grassroots legislative liaison station in Yingchuan Village, and learn about the villagers' deliberation and election and grassroots legislative practice. Manuel Dembo, First Secretary of the Presidency of the National Assembly of Angola and member of the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs, said: "It is worth learning from the fact that the views of the villagers can be directly reflected through the grassroots legislative liaison stations. When I return to Angola, I will also promote this practice. ”

Huawu Village, which is the most representative Miao village in Bijie City, where the councillors sang and danced with the villagers to learn about the local ethnic culture and rural revitalization. "I was struck by the level of governance in China's rural areas, and they all enjoyed good housing, water, electricity, transportation and other basic facilities." Armindo da Luz, First Vice-President of the Cape Verdean People's Assembly, Chairman of the Management Committee and Head of the Cape Verde-China Friendship Group, hopes to learn from the successful experience of rural governance and Guizhou's rapid poverty alleviation.

In the Guiyang Big Data Exchange Experience Center and the Provincial Museum, the parliamentarians had an in-depth understanding of the exploration, practice and innovation achievements of our province since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In Guizhou Highway Group, the parliamentarians learned about Guizhou's development achievements in the fields of highways, tunnels and bridge projects, and praised the group as an active participant and promoter of Guizhou's transportation infrastructure construction.
