Before the filming of "Chen Qing ling", the crew had summoned the actors for special training, and Liu Haikuan hung Wei Ya to practice his sword every day, so Lan Xichen's play was also flowing. In the interview, Liu Haikuan described the role of Lan Xichen as "external and internal", both a humble gentleman and his own stubborn side, which he believes is the most similar to the role. Therefore, when Liu Haikuan performed, he did not play an "old good man" on the surface, but through different details, he gave Lan Xichen a more delicate and plump character trait.

The producer of "Chen Qingling" once said that the casting value is the temperament of the actor himself, and perhaps Liu Haikuan's bookish temperament is the reason why he was selected to star.
Liu Haikuan likes to read, practice pen writing, and is also keen on music, "I will make a sound."
