After the incident, the candidates and their parents found the police officer concerned - Zhang Chunlei, the head of the Zhuqiao checkpoint of the traffic police detachment of the Jiading Public Security Bureau, and came to the district traffic police detachment yesterday (July 2) morning to express their gratitude in person.
"Thank you so much!" At 10 o'clock in the morning, candidate Bi Shujie and her mother, Ms. Jing, came to the district traffic police detachment together to send flowers and thank you cards to Zhang Chunlei.
Public video shows that at around 7:53 on June 28, Bi Shujie has been walking back and forth in front of the platform after getting off the bus at the Puhui Road Station on Jia'an Highway. A few minutes later, she knocked on the window of a pulled-over minivan.
"I happened to be pulling over to answer the phone, and this classmate came and knocked on the window, saying that it was too late for the exam and couldn't get a taxi, and wanted to ask me to help deliver it." Zhang Chunlei introduced that he was about to go to the traffic police detachment for a meeting, and when he stopped halfway, he met candidate Bi Shujie for help.

Bi Shujie said that she had planned to take a bus from Anting to the streets of Jiading Town that day and then take a taxi to the examination hall of Jiading No. 1 Middle School, but when she got off the bus at the Jia'an Highway Station on Puhui Road, she could not get a taxi. Seeing that the exam time was getting closer and closer, she was so anxious that she saw a car pull over and asked for help in the mood of trying it out.
"I really didn't know what to do, but through the window, I vaguely saw that the driver seemed to be wearing a police uniform, so I went up and knocked on the window. Roll down the window and see that it's the police, wow! Now you can rest assured! Bi Shujie said excitedly.

Due to the rain at that time, the traffic flow around the test center was relatively concentrated, and the roads within 1 km of Jiading No. 1 Middle School were congested to varying degrees. Zhang Chunlei kept adjusting the driving route and choosing a relatively smooth route, and finally arrived at the test center safely at around 8:30.
"After getting in the car, people relaxed all of a sudden, I am really grateful to Officer Zhang, if it weren't for him, I would definitely be late, and I would have to retake the exam." Bi Shujie said as she expressed her gratitude to Officer Zhang.
Bi Shujie's mother, Ms. Jing, said that the teacher had called her several times in a row, but she couldn't contact her daughter, so she could only do it at home. It wasn't until the teacher called to say that the child was not late and had already entered the exam room that she was relieved. Knowing that it was a police officer who sent the child, Ms. Jing said that no matter what, she would find the police officer to express her gratitude in person. The mother and daughter first found the local police station, then through the license plate, and finally found Officer Zhang. "'Finding the police if you have difficulties' is not a verbal statement, and we can find the police to solve urgent matters, and our hearts are quite warm." Ms. Jing said.
The Jiading Public Security Bureau said that citizens can ask the police for help at any time when they encounter difficulties, regardless of whether the police are on duty or not, providing as much help as possible to the masses is also the most basic requirement for every police officer.
