From October 11 to 12, 2021, our school organized 12 teachers to study in Qingdao Middle School in Shandong Province. Qingdao Middle School carefully arranged campus visits, cultural and governance system sharing, expert lectures, exchanges and interactions and other activities. Two days of study and study, the itinerary is compact and rich in content. Qingdao Middle School's superior school-running conditions, modern education and teaching facilities, campus cultural atmosphere of "putting students in mind", advanced school-running concepts, streamlined and efficient leadership team and curriculum system based on student reconstruction and reshaping all made my eyes shine, and they are all worthy of our research, learning and reference. I was fortunate to be a member of the delegation, I gained a lot, felt a lot, and deeply felt the importance of going out to learn, the following on my own visit and the thinking caused by this to talk about a few rough understandings.
PART 01

"The children on campus today, the pillars of the great rejuvenation of the nation tomorrow", this is a picture hanging on the wall chart at the entrance of the principal's office of Qingdao Middle School. When President Wang Zhenggui and Secretary Chen Qiting introduced the preparatory work of the school, they talked about this wall map many times. The wallchart records the birth year of the students currently enrolled in Qingdao Middle School and the ages of these students by 2035 and 2050. There are no too many words, no gorgeous embellishments, simple numbers can impact the heart, highlighting the mission of Qingdao Middle School to run education. Education should be oriented to the future, education should be based on the long-term development of the country, education should be committed to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and education should carry historical responsibility and historical mission. These are not empty words, but creeds that each and every one of us educators needs to keep in mind.
"Putting students in your heart" is the core value of Qingdao Middle School, and you can see these 7 big characters as soon as you enter the hall of the teaching building, which is very eye-catching. Principal Wang stressed during the discussion: If teachers want to put students in their hearts, first of all, the school must put teachers in their hearts. Let the dreams of teachers and students blossom is not only the concept, but also the reality. The school should do ten meaningful things for students and teachers every year, called "ten facts to do", and hang ten things in the hall, update the progress of things at any time, accept the supervision of teachers and students of the school, so that all teachers and students can feel respect and happiness, so that the core values of the school are deeply rooted in the hearts of every teacher.

Qingdao Middle School is a 12-year consistent school, breaking the traditional school segment restrictions and implementing the "5+3+4" school segment. No matter which school section, it is closely centered on the core purpose of "what kind of people to cultivate", to think about "what knowledge is valuable", to break down disciplinary barriers, to reconstruct the knowledge system, and to build a 12-year consistent Chinese core curriculum system. In the 5 years of primary school, weaken the difference between disciplines, set up core task themes, and implement integrated education through task-driven; 3 years of junior high school, promote interdisciplinary education, open humanities and science courses, and reshape the curriculum system; 4 years of high school, combined with the college entrance examination policy, implement sub-subject education, especially in the first year of high school, specially open middle and high school bridging courses, so that students can successfully pass the "confused period" of junior high school.

President Wang said at the symposium that "Qingdao Middle School should make a dream conference for every student, so that every student has the opportunity to show their dreams." Qingdao Middle School designs all the educational and teaching activities of the school with curriculum awareness, so that the children's life, learning and growth become interesting, meaningful and possible. The school has carried out a variety of colorful cultural activities, giving full play to the main role of students, fully displaying their talents, and allowing students to gain self-confidence and ability in the activities. During the club activities, students design their own plans, posters, costumes, and choose suitable spaces to display the results of the activities. The works completed by students in technical classes can be exhibited in professional classrooms. Plays rehearsed by the students themselves can also be performed in the hall. The school provides students with a rich display space, so that every student can have a stage to show their talents, so as to cultivate self-confidence and promote the healthy growth of students.
The two-day study tour was short, but it was an unforgettable learning experience. For me, I not only appreciated the advanced educational concepts and enriched my horizons, but also received an excellent education. In the future education and teaching work, I will strive to pass on the advanced concepts and experiences I have learned to the teachers of the high school as soon as possible, improve the overall education and teaching management level of the high school, and create a New Century characteristics and New Century experience that meets our actual situation!

Wu Hao, a student of the grade, won the Shijiazhuang Science Title in the 2019 college entrance examination, and many of his classes were admitted to Zhejiang University, Beihang University, China Agricultural University, Communication University of China and other famous universities.
