On June 29th, members of the "Micro Wish+" Care Group led 13 children from Shaopingdian Primary School into Qujiang Book City, checked in to the online celebrity bookstore, and immersed themselves in the fun of reading.
Qujiang Book City, the first complex reading experience center in Northwest China, integrates many cultural projects such as books, shopping, leisure, and catering, subverting the business model of traditional Xinhua bookstores, creating a new urban cultural living space, and a cultural landmark belonging to Xi'an people.
As soon as they walked into the book city, the children dragged the volunteers to shuttle through the rows of bookshelves, and they were instantly buried in a sea of books. Find a corner, take a favorite book, or sit on the ground, or nest in the sofa, or sit upright, start a "happy" reading journey, take books as friends, read and think, read diligently and love learning, and start a smart life in books.
Here, the practice team members and children experienced the strong reading atmosphere of the book city, and the immersive book city experience not only increased knowledge and broadened their horizons, but also stimulated everyone's interest in reading books and acquiring knowledge. Each of the children picked a favorite book and took it home with joy to start a pleasant and wonderful reading time. The children held the new book, their eyes flashed with curiosity and desire for the unknown world, and the seeds of exploration and imagination were planted in their hearts, believing that this trip to the book city will become one of the most shining memories of their childhood.
