Third, the current cold storage capacity rate at all levels is relatively low, considering that the follow-up pig prices are likely to continue to rise, slaughtering companies and cold storage traders will take the opportunity to slaughter into storage, which will increase short-term pork demand and support pig prices.
But we can not ignore the negative factors in the market, some of the second breeding pigs to the slaughter time, pig prices rose after the pig weight for slaughter is relatively high, and the current is still in the off-season of pork demand. Affected by high temperature and humidity weather in summer, the incidence of yellow and white dysentery in farrowing piglets is higher, if the treatment is not timely or the method is wrong, it is easy to affect the survival rate of piglets in farrowing room, after diarrhea, farmers must take correct measures.
1. For sows that have not given birth, it is recommended to add pulsatilla powder + linco spectinomycin to the feed from 3 days before giving birth to 7 days after giving birth to reduce the amount of harmful bacteria in the intestinal tract of sows and prevent sows from infecting pathogenic bacteria to piglets.
2. After the piglets are born, intramuscular injection of long-acting cefotaxiofur or long-acting enrofloxacin prevents yellow and white dysentery in piglets.
3. If the piglets in the farrowing room have diarrhea, it is recommended to add pulsatilla powder + linco spectinomycin to the sow feed for 7 days. Piglets were injected with ceftiofur intramuscularly, and at the same time, poplar flower oral liquid + gentamicin was taken orally once a day for 3 days.
