In 2016, Xie Chunhua entered everyone's field of vision with "Borrow Me" and released her first solo album "Counting Clouds and Smoke". For the next three years, Xie Chunhua maintained the personal creation of one album per year, and released three personal creation albums of "Zhifei", "Dim Sum" and "Silent Rebellion".
In 2020, five years have passed since Xie Chunhua's debut. Her fifth solo album, One Tree, arrived as promised, once again bringing you eight poetic songs.
<h1>"One Tree"</h1>
Naming a name has always been a headache for me, whether it is in the past when I wrote an essay and couldn't think of a title, or now I can't think of a song name after writing a song, and I am stretched to the limit, just like the same.
But the more headache it gets, the more fun it becomes.
From composing one song after another on weekdays to thinking about the album title after choosing a track, this may be the longest time.
When taking the name, I hope that the album title can clearly characterize the style of the album, and I hope that it is a clever pun, or whether I can use my real name. However, this album is not a single style, nor can it be easily covered by an adjective, and I don't have a second real name.
I just scratched my head and thought about it for several months, but I didn't have a satisfactory result. But one night at the end of June, I was sitting at my desk in a daze when a sudden quantifier crashed into my mind—"one tree." In this instant, I suddenly discovered, why should the decision of the moment stick to the choices of the past? Only by breaking free can you get the answer you want.
The title of each song on this album can be summarized by quantifiers and nouns, from the "Cheeky Face" created at the beginning of 19 years to the unexpected harvest of randomly writing songs in May this year, in this year and a half, there are ordinary days, precious and rare relationships, inexplicable emotions, painful and repeated dreams, and long struggles and explorations for themselves.
Importantly, I not only recorded all this with songs, but also found some good fortune in my confusion. I am sure that to love ordinary days more, to love ordinary life more, once grumbling, once mediocre self-disturbance, it is also time, it is over.
This "one" is oneself, small or great; this "one" is the landscape, ordinary or gorgeous.
