On July 1, according to media reports, GAC Toyota will soon launch the GT version of Toyota Lingshang to enhance its competitiveness in the compact car market.
Since its launch in June 2021, the current Lingshang has attracted attention for its high quality based on the TNGA architecture and its market positioning between Lelink and Camry.
The 2023 Lingshang includes a gasoline version and a diesel-electric hybrid version, which will be launched in March and July 2023, respectively, with prices ranging from 139,800 yuan to 169,800 yuan.
The exterior design of the Ling Shang is similar to that of the Lei Ling, but the body size is larger, with a length, width and height of 4695/1780/1435 mm and a wheelbase of 2750 mm, which can be regarded as a "plus-size" Lei Ling.
In terms of interior, Lingshang is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch central control screen, equipped with an intelligent car machine system, which supports a variety of intelligent interconnection and OTA online upgrades.
In terms of safety configuration, Lingshang is equipped with T-Pilot intelligent driving assistance system, including PCS pre-collision safety system, DRCC dynamic radar cruise control system, etc., and the whole system is equipped with 7 airbags as standard.
The petrol version is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), while the diesel-electric hybrid version is powered by Toyota's fifth-generation hybrid system mated to an E-CVT continuously variable transmission.
On the other hand, the price range of 140,000 coincides with the seal 06DM-i just released by BYD, but the seal 06 with its higher configuration and lower fuel consumption will bring a dimensionality reduction blow to traditional car companies.
If it were you, what would you choose?
