Preface
Confu is a national brand in the hair dryer industry, with a range of personal care appliances such as hair dryers, straight curlers and hair clippers, as well as household appliances such as dryers, hairball trimmers and air purifiers. In this issue, we dismantle a high-speed brushless hair dryer F8 from Yasuo, which has a built-in high-speed brushless motor developed by Yasuo, with a speed of up to 110,000 rpm.
The hair dryer has four air temperature and two wind speed adjustments, a total of eight blowing modes, and a built-in high-concentration negative ion generator, which can effectively reduce static electricity, smooth frizz, and improve hair shine and smoothness. The hair dryer detects the air temperature of the air outlet 50 times per second, and is equipped with multiple anti-overheating measures to protect against overheating. Let's bring the disassembly of the Yasuo F8 hair dryer, and take a look at the internal design and materials.

Kangfu F8 high-speed hair dryer is designed with a classic T-shaped shape, with a gray PC flame-retardant material shell, with frosted technology, and it feels good to use.
The connection between the power cord of the hair dryer and the fuselage is protected by a rubber sheath.
The power cord is a two-pin plug.
The plug is marked with an input specification of 10A250V, which has passed the CCC certification and is also marked with the CONFU trademark.
The shell under the grip is designed with a honeycomb-shaped opening, and the inside is equipped with a fine metal mesh to prevent dust and foreign matter from entering.
The grip is equipped with a power button and a gear slide key.

Yasuo F8 high-speed hair dryer dismantling
After reading the appearance display of the Yasuo F8 high-speed hair dryer, let's disassemble it and take a look at the internal design and materials together.
First, pry open the back cover of the hair dryer along the seam of the housing, and the back cover is fixed by a buckle.
A PCBA module is provided inside the back cover and is fixed by screws.
The PCBA module is fixed inside the housing by screws.
Remove the power switch and push button switch.
Remove the air intake filter at the end of the hair dryer handle, and the filter is fixed by magnet adsorption.
The air intake filter is secured by screws.
The stainless steel strainer is secured by screws.
The skeleton is fixed with screws.
The air inlet is equipped with a filter sponge.
Remove the handle housing, and the handle structure is fixed with screws.
The switch cover is fixed with screws.
The handle is sealed with masking tape.
Unscrew the set screws of the handle housing and disassemble the handle housing.

The power switch is from TOPLY, the model is TS-13, and the specification is 7.5A 250V.
A chip key switch is welded on the front of the small board.
The connecting wire passes through the gasket and is connected to the inside of the fuselage.
Take out the PCBA module at the tail of the hair dryer, and the wires are soldered.
The PCBA module is composed of two PCBs soldered through pin headers.

On the other side of the PCBA module is a sealing cover.
Solder the disconnect wires and take out the PCBA module.
The motor connection wire is soldered to the upper PCB.
Continue to remove the heating core inside the hair dryer.
One side of the PCBA module is equipped with a high-voltage filter capacitor and a thyristor.
The other side is welded with a motor drive small board, and the IPM integrated driver chip is welded on the small board.
Soldering splits the two PCBs.
Bottom round PCB solder chip fuse, NTC thermistor, safety X2 capacitor, varistor, common mode inductor and rectifier bridge. Dare to connect the high-voltage filter capacitor and thyristor at the bottom, and weld the step-down inductor and filter capacitor on the left side.
The back of the PCBA module is soldered with a non-isolated step-down circuit and a voltage regulator chip, as well as a feedback optocoupler.
The chip fuse specification is 15A.
NTC thermistor silkscreen 8D-11 for suppressing inrush current at power-up.
The safety X2 capacitor is from QNR and has a specification of 1μF.
The varistor is from HEL Hongzhi and is specified as 7D471K to absorb overvoltage surges.
The common mode inductor is wound with enameled wire and reinforced with glue.
The rectifier bridge is from Chenda Xing, model DB207S, specification is 2A1000V, and DBS package is used.
The high-voltage filter capacitor uses three in parallel.
The high-voltage filter capacitor is from Chuanghui Electronics, and the specification is 33μF 400V.
The non-isolated step-down chip that powers the control circuit is from SL Silan, model SDH8302S, and the chip integrates a high-voltage start-up circuit and a 650V high-voltage switch, supporting non-isolated step-down applications and isolated flyback applications.
The 100μH step-down inductor is wound with an I-shaped core.
The output filter capacitor specification is 47μF 35V.
The 78L05 regulator chip is used to power the MCU.
Two Everlight EL3H4 optocouplers are used for zero-crossing detection and motor gear feedback.
Toshiba TLP265J optocouplers are used to drive thyristors.
The thyristor comes from RICHY Haoruijia Electronics, with a model of RS1235H6A, a specification of 12A 600V, and a TO-220A package.
The driver board is connected to the bottom PCB through a pin header to solder the master MCU and the current sense resistor.
The other side is soldered with IPM integrated power stage chips, NTC and LED connectors.
The motor driver chip comes from Fengyi, the model is FU6812L, the built-in motor special engine ME and the 8051 core, the motor FOC or BLDC operation control is automatically completed through the ME hardware, the built-in 8051 core is used for parameter configuration and daily transaction processing, with PWM drive signal output, and the LQFP48 package is used.
The integrated power stage chip for the motor drive is from CR Micro, model CS5755MT, which integrates three high-voltage gate drivers and three half-pair bridge MOS tubes for brushless motor drive. The chip has built-in under-voltage protection, built-in temperature detection, supports 3.3/5/15V signal voltage, built-in 500V 1.2Ω MOS transistor, and integrates bootstrap diode, and adopts SOP23H package.
This integrated power stage IC replaces the traditional combination of three drivers and MOS tubes inside a brushless hair dryer, or a combination of three independent half-bridge chips, reducing the number of components and saving board space.
The connector connected to the small button board is glued and reinforced.

The hair dryer heating wire module is covered with mica sheet insulation and heat-insulated, and is fixed with high-temperature tape.

Remove the mica sheet from the jacket and wrap the heating wire around the mica sheet holder.
The heating wire is fixed through an opening in the upper part of the mica sheet.

The thermal fuse is from Chaoying, the specification is 10A 250V, the operating temperature is 240°C, and it is used for overheating and power-off protection.
There are four RGB LEDs on the indicator board.
The negative ion generator is from Guangdong Qingshan Precision Electronics Co., Ltd., model GFA-223T, and the input power is 1W.

Through dismantling, the new observation of electrical appliances learned that the internal of Kangfu's hair dryer is a domestic chip solution, which uses the main control of the peak FU6812L with the three-phase half-bridge chip of China Resources Micro CS5755MT for motor drive, and uses the Silan SDH8302S non-isolated step-down chip with the 78L05 voltage regulator chip for the MCU step-down power supply.
The heating wire module is controlled by thyristor, supported by mica skeleton, and insulated by mica sheet. The heating wire is equipped with a bimetal thermostat for active overheating and power-off, and a thermal fuse for overheating and power-off protection, all of which are fixed to the mica sheet skeleton by riveting, with firm contact and multiple protection measures to ensure the safety of use.
