The Qiandongnan Prefecture Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters upgraded the flood control level III emergency response to the level II emergency response in the Yuyang River basin from 15 o'clock yesterday. After the emergency response was launched, the cadres and workers of the county moved when they heard the "order" and went to the front line of flood control, flood control, rescue and disaster relief to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
As of press time, more than 260 people from 9 rescue and rescue teams, including Guizhou Rescue Team, Guizhou Drainage Team, Qiandongnan Prefecture Public Security Bureau Rescue Team, Kaili Rescue Team, Taijiang Fire Brigade, Tianzhu Fire Brigade, Cen Gong Fire Brigade, and Jianhe Fire Brigade, and more than 5,200 cadres and people in the county are carrying out flood fighting and rescue work in an orderly manner. Zhenyuan County has set up six places, including the Party School of the County Party Committee, Qingyun Hotel, and Shanhe B&B, as emergency resettlement sites for flood control in urban areas, and more than 6,000 people have been safely and urgently evacuated, with no casualties.
