As a "10,000-game" veteran, what I am most concerned about in the new season is naturally my "mad dog".
In order to test his strength, I have been playing in the trial server for a few days now, and now I can finally say very seriously: Dian Wei is very strong in the new season.
Let the numbers speak
The numbers don't lie, let's take a look at what adjustments Dian Wei has made in the new season.
(1) Attribute changes
Before the adjustment, the base values of Dian Wei were:
- Movement Speed: Initial movement speed is 390.
- Attack Speed: The initial attack speed is 0, which increases by 3% with the hero's level, and 42% after the full level.
- Health: Starts with 3434 health, increases by 291.6 per level as the hero level increases, and 7516.4 health at full level.
- Physical Attack: The initial physical attack is 168, which increases by 12.7 per level as the hero level increases, and the physical attack is 345.8 after the full level.
- Physical Resistance: The initial physical resistance is 89, which increases by 22.4 with each level as the hero level increases, and the physical resistance is 402.6 after the full level.
- Magic Resistance: The initial magic resistance is 50, and as the hero level increases, each level increases by 8.5, and the magic resistance is 169 after the full level.
After the adjustment, the basic value of Dian Wei has changed very significantly:
- Movement Speed: Initial movement speed is 385.
- Attack Speed: The initial attack speed is 5%, which increases by 2% with the hero's level, and 33% after the hero level increases.
- Health: Starts with 3475 health, increases by 289 per level as the hero level increases, and 7521 health at full level.
- Physical Attack: The initial physical attack is 171, which increases by 12.8 per level as the hero level increases, and the physical attack is 350.2 after the full level.
- Physical Resistance: The initial physical resistance is 150, which increases by 18.5 per level as the hero level increases, and the physical resistance is 409 after the full level.
- Magic Resistance: The initial magic resistance is 75, and as the hero level increases, each level increases by 7.5, and the magic resistance is 180 after the full level.
After the adjustment, Dian Wei's movement speed was reduced by 5 points; Attack speed increased by 5% in the early stage and decreased by 9% in the late stage; It has increased by 41 in the early life and 4.6 in the late game, 3 in the early stage and 4.4 in the late game, 61 in the early stage and 6.4 in the late game, and 25 in the early stage and 11 in the late game.
After the physical attack, physical resistance, legal resistance, and life were comprehensively strengthened, the combat effectiveness of Dian Wei in the early stage was significantly improved.
(2) Skill changes
In the new season, the effects of Dian Wei I's skills are:
- Dian Wei increases movement speed by 60%, and the acceleration will continue to decay for 3 seconds, while strengthening the next basic attack; Gain full passive attack range, dash towards the target when released, and deal 300~550+100% AD bonus physical damage to nearby enemies.
Compared with before, there are two main adjustments to a skill: one is that the enhanced basic attack will directly gain a full passive attack range, and the other is that it can rush towards the target when released.
Some friends may think that it is not a big deal to increase the attack range of 210 yards, after all, judging from the comparison chart above, the improvement does not seem to be very obvious, but if you calculate it, the situation is different.
Assuming that the original basic attack range of Dian Wei was 300 yards, according to the formula, the attack range of the old version = πr² = 282600, and the attack range of the new version = 816714, the latter is 2.89 times that of the former! So, don't look at the increase of only 210 yards, the actual combat effect is actually very obvious.
The new dash effect is similar to Arthur's first skill in actual combat, only if there is a hostile target or neutral creature on the opposite side, Dian Wei can dash through, otherwise it can only speed up the effect.
After my actual test, in the wild area, Dian Wei's brand new skill can be pierced except for the dragon pit, and all the other walls can be pierced (pigs and bears need to be worn from the side).
After the mobility was significantly enhanced, the plan appropriately recovered some of Dian Wei's damage:
- The true damage ratio of Dian Wei's ultimate has been reduced by 0.5% from the original 3% → 2.5%.
The true damage of Dian Wei's ultimate is divided into two stages, the first is the skill damage when the skill is released (320~640 + 90% additional AD bonus), the second is the true damage that lasts for 5 seconds, and this time the adjustment is the true damage of the second stage.
The second stage of this true damage needs Dian Wei to deal damage to the enemy to trigger, and the damage here includes skill damage, basic attack damage, and equipment skill damage.
Summary: The adjustment of the first skill has increased the mobility and fault tolerance of Dian Wei, and the adjustment of the third skill has reduced the burst and meat grinding ability of Dian Wei (the passive and second skills have not changed, so I will not repeat them).
Gameplay ideas and outfit recommendations
After understanding the changes of Dian Wei, let's discuss the gameplay ideas and specific loadouts of the new version of Dian Wei.
(1) Gameplay ideas
In the new season, there are four main adjustments to the jungle:
- A new group of creeps has been added to the red zone (Bears return);
- The number of Shanhao has increased from 3 → 2;
- Lizard Point Monsters are cancelled;
- A new one-way door has been added to the Pheasant.
After the obvious increase in the resources of the wild area, Dian Wei's gameplay ideas (early stage) can be roughly divided into two categories:
- The first type of opposing hero is very strong in the early stage, at this time I recommend to develop in the wild area (tell your teammates whether to support or not), take all the monsters, and then support after you have key equipment.
- The second type of opposing hero has average strength in the early stage, and at this time, I suggest that Dian Wei give up some resources to his teammates (such as the Flame Pheasant to the shooter) and go to the line or the enemy field to find opportunities.
As for whether it is red or blue, my suggestion is to go according to the confrontation path. The reason for this recommendation is that the upgraded Space Spirit will refresh the confrontation road in 2 minutes, and if you grab the Space Spirit, the whole team can get an additional 150 gold in total.
The gameplay idea in the middle and late stages is the same as before, control the dragon with the tailwind, reverse the field, push the tower, and the headwind will lead the line to contain and drag the late stage, and find opportunities to cut in after the team battle, these have been said many times before, I believe the old guys should know it.
(2) Basic combos
According to the original gameplay, Dian Wei is generally accelerated by one skill, then split by three skills, and then stepped on by two skills, but the situation is different in the new season.
- If there is no displacement on the opposite side, the current Dian Wei can be 1a2a3a; There is a displacement on the opposite side, and Dian Wei can also be 13a2a1a.
During the experience server test, I grabbed a Sun Shangxiang with a flash, and when my skill accelerated over, she rolled backwards, I picked it up, she caught the flash, if it was before, she might have shown me, but not now, because now my skill still has a displacement that can break through the face.
Important: In team fights, be sure to use the function of locking the enemy's avatar (you should be using Arthur's skill).
(3) Outfit recommendation
The first build I recommend is the regular Mad Dog Flow (the elegant point is called the Wild Beast Flow), and the specific build is:
- Devouring of Greed, Boots of Resistance, Shadow Battle Axe, Anti-Injury Thorn, Grandmaster's Power, and Pure Firmament.
When the damage of the spell on the opposite side is very high, you can give priority to the eternal night guard, and in the later stage, you can sell the shoes out of the life-saving outfit (Pure Sky, Sage's Protection, Famous Sword, etc.).
The second set of builds is the Yellow Shield Tank Stream, and the specific loadouts are:
- Giant's Grip, Boots of Resistance, Raging Dragon's Sword and Shield, Red Lotus Cloak, Anti-Wound Thorn, and Eternal Night Guardian.
Although the damage of this outfit is not very high, it is better to be able to fight and resist, and rush in to cheat a wave of skills before the team battle, and the safety factor of teammates will be greatly improved immediately.
Of course, if you choose this outfit, you must have a hero among your teammates who can cut C independently.
summary
The displacement of 3.9 seconds per second largely compensates for the shortcomings of Dian Wei's short legs, and compared to the S35, I think Dian Wei's strength has at least improved by one level, and I am very optimistic about his performance in the new season (now I am worried that his stats are too bright - -).
