On August 10, Beijing time, the Brooklyn Nets officially announced that the team has officially renewed its contract with Blake Griffin. According to the team regulations, the contract details were not announced.
Griffin signed with the Nets in March 2021 and averaged 10.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, and ranked second on the team in terms of both offensive efficiency and goal difference, behind Kevin Durant.
Griffin also played in all 12 of the team's playoff games last season, averaging 9.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
