At about 23 o'clock on May 24, 2024, the Blue Sky Rescue Team of Mizhi County received a call for help from the masses, saying that a man jumped off the Jiulong Bridge of the Wuding River in Mizhi and asked the Blue Sky Rescue Team to come to the rescue immediately. Team leader Li Peng immediately organized search and rescue personnel to rush to the Jiulong Bridge and rushed to the rescue scene in less than five minutes. In order to prevent the occurrence of secondary disasters, through analysis, research and evaluation, an effective rescue plan was quickly formulated, and the search and rescue rope was used to let his teammate Zhang Xiaofeng slide to the river beach, Zhang Xiaofeng regardless of personal danger, immediately jumped into the river and carried the man who fell into the water ashore, and at the same time, the captain Li Peng drove a special rescue vehicle to pull Ma Jun, Guo Zhuang, Luo Gang, and Qin Yonglong from the gap next to the Xiangfeng Bridge to the river beach, ready to transport the people who fell into the water.

On June 1, 2021, the Mizhi County Blue Sky Rescue Team was authorized by the Shaanxi Blue Sky Rescue Team Coordination Center to start preparations, and was officially registered on January 17, 2022.
