On June 10 (May 5), the "Populus euphratica Guardian" youth commando and caring social workers carried out a festival activity with the theme of "Brown Fragrance in the Courtyard, Warm Children's Hearts" in the County Children's Welfare Institute, and "Brother and Sister" sent holiday care and blessings to the children, so that everyone could experience and feel the lively atmosphere and cultural connotation of the Dragon Boat Festival in the activity, hoping to enhance the sense of identity and pride of the county's children in excellent traditional culture, and further forge the sense of community of the Chinese nation.
At the beginning of the activity, the "Dragon Boat Festival allusion prize quiz" mobilized the enthusiasm of each child, the hot sun could not stop the passion of the teenagers, and they were the first to raise their hands to answer, and invited social workers to explain the legends and customs of the Dragon Boat Festival to the children, and with pictures and videos to enhance the fun and attractiveness of the story, after listening to the story, the children consciously sat up straight, remembering the sages, in Xinjiang but the heart of the yearning, as the so-called "mountains and seas are unstoppable, loyal and virtuous through the ages".
In the hands-on session, the volunteers carefully prepared the materials needed for the activity, and neatly placed zongzi leaves, glutinous rice, dates and zongzi ropes on the table. Skilled volunteers with the children, together with the rice, wrapping rice dumplings, tying thread, work together, a pair of big hands and small hands in the laughter and laughter up and down, a beautiful rice dumplings were born, looking at their own serious finished products, the children's faces invariably showed a proud and bright smile. Children get a great sense of satisfaction and happiness from their work.
During the activity, the children spontaneously sang and danced, the scene was full of youth and joy, an interesting and lovely shape, an innocent smile, infected everyone present, only a moment, the commandos understood what they wanted to protect, is the smile on the children's faces, is the companionship that the children crave, is the light on the road of the children's growth.
