During the college entrance examination every year, many candidates and parents are deceived.
The following is a list of candidates and parents
Collating the most common college entrance examination scams in recent years.
Scam 1: Online sales of "college entrance examination answers"
Criminals create phishing websites to advertise luring messages such as "the highest accuracy rate" and "pay the full amount after the test", and display a number of "user praises". After the user contacts the website, the website will often ask the user to pay in the name of "deposit payment", or send viruses to the user in the name of transmitting "sample test papers".
Police Shu Huang reminded: Don't have a fluke mentality to buy so-called exam answers on the Internet, giving criminals a chance. At the same time, it is also illegal to buy the answers to the exam questions, so don't try them.
Scam 2: College Entrance Examination "Gunman"
The scammer lied through QQ that he could be a "college entrance examination gunman", and CCTV once exposed the college entrance examination gunman's interest chain for the exam, giving the gunman 50,000 yuan to be admitted to a key undergraduate.
Police Shu Huang reminded: For the "gunman" students who take the college entrance examination substitute examination, they will be severely dealt with in accordance with the regulations; where a crime is suspected, it shall be transferred to the judicial organs for investigation of legal responsibility.
Scam 3: Low scores can "skip gear" admissions
During the enrollment period every year, some people claim that there is a way to admit candidates who are not enough to the first line to be admitted to one college, and those who are not under the undergraduate score line can be admitted to the undergraduate college.
Police Shu Huang reminded: Now they are all computer admissions, and the candidates' scores have not reached the pitch line, so they cannot be raised!
Scam 4: Spending money on "internal indicators"
Scammers claim that they have "internal indicators", "mobile indicators", "independent enrollment indicators of colleges and universities", "point recruitment", etc.
Police Shu Huang reminded: If there is a "supplementary record", the local high recruitment offices will conduct an online open solicitation of volunteers for admission, and parents will not be informed by phone.
Scam five: impersonating military school admissions
Falsely claiming to be a member of a military agency or admissions department. Under the guise of recruiting "trainees of local party committees," "self-financed students," and "national defense students," some swindlers have even forged official military documents and seals to pretend to be personnel of military organs or enrollment departments, promising that the education departments will recognize their academic qualifications and that they will all be arranged to work in the army after graduation.
Police Shu Huang reminded: There are no internal indicators for military school enrollment, and there will be no unplanned expansion, let alone a high fee of tens of thousands of dollars from candidates and parents. In the enrollment of national defense students, there is no "internal enrollment index", and there is no such thing as "pre-recording" in advance.
Scam 6: Get the admission result in advance
Taking advantage of everyone's unfamiliarity with the admissions process, scammers advocate that they have "someone above" and "guarantee admission" and openly bid for it.
Police Shu Huang reminds that candidates and parents should refer to the admission information published on the official website of the local education department or the official website of the institution applying for the examination, and do not listen to rumors obtained in advance.
Scam 7: Forge a fake score check URL
Fraudsters send fake score checking URLs through text messages, asking candidates to enter their names, test numbers, mobile phone numbers, bank account numbers and other information, and then sell these information or carry out precise fraud based on these information.
Police Shu Huang reminds: Please check the score website designated by the designated local education department, and beware of all kinds of text messages related to score checking and admission.
Scam 8: Falsifying an admission letter
Scammers send fake admission letters to candidates through the post office and ask them to deposit tuition and fees into their bank accounts.
Police Shu Huang reminds: Some schools will publish the information of the admission of candidates on their own admissions websites, otherwise, you can call to consult the admitted institutions. Don't trust an offer from a college you didn't apply for.
Police Shu Huang reminds everyone 👇👇👇:
There will be no fees for regular admissions, so do not trust any messages and phone calls in the name of collecting security deposits, admission fees, etc. For all kinds of scams, candidates and parents should also remain vigilant, do not have a fluke mentality, and avoid being deceived!
