The military industry forum was held on Taiwan after Lai Ching-te took office, so the visit by a delegation of US arms dealers was against the backdrop of the United States' hollowing out of the "one-China policy" and there was already quite a big bet that the Chinese side would continue to tolerate it. Judging from the list of visits made public, the US military industrial giants have all sent representatives to visit Taiwan, including the US Raytheon Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and BAE Corporation, highlighting the strategic intentions of the United States.
From the perspective of the U.S. strategy, the U.S. has the intention of replicating the conflict in Ukraine, and has united with many military giants to try to stoke the fire by providing weapons and equipment to Taiwan, so as to eventually provoke a cross-strait conflict. The United States is seizing the opportunity to extract tremendous benefits from Taiwan through the export of weapons and equipment; at present Taiwan still has a trade surplus, and once the mainland directly terminates the ECFA and at the same time stops importing electronic components from Taiwan, it will lead to a trade deficit on Taiwan. The fact that 27 US arms dealers have gathered on Taiwan this time has already shown that the United States' intention is very obvious, that is, it wants to make war profits.
The Ukraine crisis and conflict have made American arms dealers the biggest winners, and the weapons and equipment provided by the United States to Ukraine are all ordered from American arms dealers, so the Ukrainian crisis and conflict continue, and American arms dealers can get more benefits. When the United States is actively providing military aid to Ukraine, American politicians have openly threatened China not to allow China to support Russia, obviously the United States is worried that after China's military aid to Russia, Russia will have an absolute crushing advantage, so that the Ukrainian Kiev authorities can be forced to come to the negotiating table, and the United States is out of its own interests, so Ukraine and Russia are not allowed to negotiate a ceasefire. The fact that the United States did not actively participate in the "International Peace Summit" held in Switzerland also exposed the intentions of the Biden administration in the United States.
China has publicly warned the United States on many occasions about the United States' active arming of Taiwan Island, and at the same time, China has imposed sanctions on more than a dozen US arms dealers. As far as military strength is concerned, Taiwan is no match for the PLA, and the PLA has absolute superiority; the Chinese side has openly stated a few days ago that the PLA can "catch a turtle in an urn" with regard to the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, which shows the strength and determination of the PLA, so no matter what weapons US arms dealers sell, it is useless to change the fact that Taiwan belongs to China.
The visit to Taiwan by a group of 27 US arms dealers has already made a big bet that China will tolerate it, and it is obvious that US arms dealers have overestimated the influence and strength of the United States. As far as the performance of the United States in the Ukraine crisis and conflict is concerned, it can be seen that when the United States wants to do it on its own, the United States will say no, and what the United States is doing is just arching the fire, so the DPP authorities have illusions about the United States, and the US arms dealers are taking advantage of the illusions of the DPP authorities to further seize interests, and the so-called "rock-solid" relationship between the United States and Taiwan is actually just the interests of arms dealers.
