Recently, Shenzhen Post Office Customs seized 1 white block crystal containing cathinone, a class I psychotropic drug controlled by the state (commonly known as "zombie medicine", "bath salts" and "meow meow") in the transshipment channel.
When the customs officer of the Shenzhen Post Office supervised the transshipment goods, he found that the machine inspection image of a package declared as "coconut butter" was suspicious, and he immediately opened the box for inspection. After investigation, it was found that there was 1 piece of white lumpy crystal hidden inside the canned white paste in the ticket package, with a gross weight of 217.1 grams. Identified by professional institutions, the white crystal is 4-methylmethcathinone, which belongs to the cathinone class. At present, the case has been transferred to the anti-smuggling department of the customs for handling.
Cathinones can cause loss of appetite, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, hallucinations and panic attacks, and are the first class of psychotropic drugs controlled by mainland regulations and belong to new drugs.
