How many real students does the "College Girl" anchor have? Pretending to be a student to do a live broadcast chaos investigation

author:Look at the news

"Someone is pretending to be a student from our school for a live broadcast." Wang Lei (pseudonym), who studied at a university in Hebei, recently discovered a strange phenomenon when he was watching short videos and live broadcasts: some anchors were not college students, but they were live broadcasts as college students.

Some time ago, he clicked into a live broadcast room titled "Sophomore", the anchor was dancing in sexy clothes, some people in the comment area kept swiping gifts in order to attract the attention of the anchor, and some people said that they wanted to meet the anchor offline. The anchor marked the location on the live broadcast page as Wang Lei's school, and when he asked the anchor questions related to school, the other party couldn't answer.

The reporter noticed that it is not uncommon for some people to carry out live broadcasts under the label of "college students" to attract traffic and bring goods, and some people even conduct vulgar live broadcasts in order to seek traffic.

A number of interviewed experts pointed out that if they are not college students, they use the identity of college students to conduct live broadcasts, which is suspected of false propaganda and fraud. Platforms shall strengthen the review and regulation of the identity of the host and the content of the live broadcast, strictly check the authenticity and compliance, and may impose penalties such as closing the live broadcast room and banning accounts for labels that violate laws and regulations. Viewers should also improve their ability to discriminate, not blindly pursue labeled live broadcasts, and pay more attention to content that is truly valuable and positive.

For the attraction of traffic to attract attention

Create a college student personality

Wang Lei often watches live broadcasts or short videos in his spare time, and he noticed that when posting videos on social platforms, he can mark his school name in the lower left corner, so that the platform will actively push videos related to his school based on big data.

One day, Wang Lei swiped to an anchor marked as his school. Out of curiosity, he watched the other party's live broadcast for several days in a row, but found that the anchor often danced some side-rubbing dances, and the scale of dancing became larger and larger, and even dressed naked, and made some sexy and bold movements from time to time.

Wang Lei was stunned, he hurriedly checked all the short videos released by the anchor before, only to find that there were no elements related to his school in these short videos, and no one knew her when he asked his classmates. In a live broadcast, Wang Lei got the opportunity to connect with the microphone by swiping gifts, and he took the opportunity to ask the anchor a few basic questions about the school, but the other party couldn't answer.

"Is this anchor a student at our school? If not, why label our school students? What a negative impact this will have on our school's reputation! Wang Lei questioned.

Hu Ming (pseudonym), from a university in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, has similar doubts. One afternoon a few days ago, he clicked into a live broadcast room, where the female anchor was putting on makeup in front of the camera, and the background looked very much like a student dormitory. The female anchor said while putting on makeup that she had one more class in the afternoon and had to go to class at 4 o'clock. But at 4 o'clock, Hu Ming found that the female anchor was still live broadcasting, so he entered the live broadcast room again and heard the female anchor say: "I don't want to go to class in the afternoon, does anyone want to play games together and make money part-time with games." ”

Hu Ming was very surprised by this, because there was an event in the school that afternoon, requiring all teachers and students to participate, but the anchor actually said that he had to go to class, and he didn't want to go to class and went to play games. In the following days, Hu Ming could see the female anchor live broadcast at a fixed time every day. "For several days in a row, she broadcast live at a fixed time every day, either playing games or chatting with her, is she a college student? Don't you have to go to class? ”

Some industry insiders told reporters that some live broadcast rooms advertised "live broadcast of college students" and "live broadcast of female college students" in the title area, but the anchors are not necessarily students. The content of these live broadcast rooms covers a wide range, including "dancing", "living", "playing", and "selling".

A person engaged in live broadcast operations revealed that some live broadcast accounts are operated by individuals on the surface, but in fact, there are companies behind them. "Female college student" and "college student" are just labels, they are all used to package anchors to increase popularity, and only when they are popular can they have more gifts and benefits. "Some rubbing content is easy to get gifts, but it is also easy to be banned, but you can just change another one after the account is banned. In reality, there are many non-college students who do live broadcasts to make money under the banner of college students. ”

The reporter noticed that there are many posts on short video and live broadcast platforms that claim to be MCN agencies (institutions that provide services specifically for online video creators) to recruit female college students as bloggers. They usually describe themselves as "first-party clients in beauty and wear." Because I have a limited budget, I look for some treasures that amateurs can wear." The registration conditions are "love to buy clothes, love to dress, have basic matching ideas, etc.", and there is no strict requirement that you must be a female college student. There are also MCN agencies that openly and secretly say that they can be labeled as "female college students" to get higher attention, and it is convenient for the agency to help push.

Impersonation of identity is involved in fraud

Damage to rights and reputation

The reporter combed through public information and found that in recent years, there have been many cases of people in the public pretending to be "female college students" and "college students" to do live broadcast fraud.

Last year, the Licang Branch of the Qingdao Municipal Public Security Bureau in Shandong Province arrested a criminal suspect who pretended to be a "female college student" to commit Internet fraud through investigation and judgment, and recovered more than 460 yuan of stolen money.

The victim, Mr. Zhang, liked to watch short videos, followed a blogger with millions of followers, and joined his fan base. In the chat, Mr. Zhang met Li, the owner of the fan group. Li said that he was studying at a university in Beijing, and because he had artistic expertise, he registered a short video account and often posted videos of himself dancing. Mr. Zhang saw that the girl in the video was handsome, and gradually developed a good feeling, and intended to develop a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship with the other party, so he frequently interacted with the other party in the fan group, and finally added friends.

Because Mr. Zhang has a successful career and a good economic foundation, he just added friends to show each other his strong financial resources, and soon won the favor of Li. Mr. Zhang has met 9 of his "girlfriends" through Li. After that, Li and his "girlfriends" successively borrowed money from Mr. Zhang on various grounds such as his parents being hospitalized, his illness, and the need to repay the "campus loan". At first, Mr. Zhang was convinced of the identity of Li and his "girlfriends", and would not hesitate to give them no matter how much money the other party borrowed. But gradually, Mr. Zhang found that the other party was unrestrained, and the more he borrowed money, he suspected that he had encountered a fraud gang, so he went to the police station to report to the police.

The police investigation found that the 10 "female college students" were all pretending to be a man.

Liu Teng (pseudonym), a senior at a university in Hebei, was also deceived - he added a female college student anchor who claimed to be from a university in the same city as him through the live broadcast platform. At the beginning, the other party took the initiative to greet him, and often invited him to the live broadcast room to brush some small gifts. Every time the other party starts broadcasting, Liu Teng will swipe a gift of 50 yuan to 100 yuan. Later, the anchor asked Liu Teng to order her milk tea, snacks, takeaways, etc., but each time the delivery address was not in the school, but in the Internet café or community.

Liu Teng felt that something was wrong, so he asked the other party about his true identity. The anchor found various reasons to prevaricate, such as taking sick leave to go home, being in a bad mood and relaxing outside the school, etc. When Liu Teng raised questions many times, the other party deleted him.

According to Wang Sixin, a professor at Communication University of China, some anchors may not be real female college students, but they use this label to attract audiences, so as to get more attention and rewards. This phenomenon not only damages the rights and interests of users and the reputation of the school, but also disrupts the live broadcast environment.

"It's understandable for the anchor to inform the audience in advance of his identity or the pre-labeling of the live content. But the key is that these labels must be authentic and not deceptive. Streamers should be honest about who they are and what they are to avoid misleading viewers. Wang Sixin said.

Zhao Zhanzhan, a lawyer at Beijing Yunjia Law Firm, pointed out that if the person involved deliberately used a false identity, especially a student, and caused fans to give him a live broadcast reward based on this identity, then the fans have every reason to demand that the relevant transaction be reversed and the reward amount recovered on the grounds that they have been defrauded. If the person involved pretends to be a student to do a live stream but does not accept a tip, or if the person who accepts the tip is not based on his or her false identity, then this situation may only constitute a violation of the platform's rules and not involve defrauding fans.

Tags must be authentic

Audit supervision should be strengthened

If you are not a student, can you start a live stream as a student?

Zhu Jie, a senior partner at Tahota (Chongqing) Law Firm, said that according to the Notice of the State Administration of Radio and Television on Strengthening the Management of Online Show Live Broadcast and E-commerce Live Broadcast, the online show live broadcast platform should implement label classification management of the program content and corresponding anchors in the live broadcast room, and classify and label them according to "music", "dance", "singing", "fitness", "game", "tourism", "food" and "life service". Based on the characteristics of live show programs with different contents, research and adopt targeted management measures to support the good and punish the inferior. Each show live broadcast room must mark the program category and live room number on the live broadcast page. Anchors who change the category of programs in the live broadcast room must be reviewed by the website, and must not change it without passing the review. Therefore, the use of tags cannot be modified at will according to the wishes of the anchor, but must be managed in a unified manner in accordance with the provisions of the law and the rules of the platform.

"When adding live broadcast tags, anchors should ensure that the tags they set are closely related to the content of the live broadcast, and cannot be falsely labeled for traffic; At the same time, it is also necessary to strictly comply with the legal provisions and platform rules. Zhu Jie said.

On December 12 last year, the Cyberspace Administration of China issued a notice on carrying out a special action to "clear and rectify the problem of poor information content orientation in short videos", which mentioned that deliberately displaying actions with sexual innuendo or sexual provocation, and publishing "soft pornography", "rubbing edges" and "pornography" content; The use of college students in the name of the production and dissemination of "soft pornography" information and vulgar marketing will be rectified.

Regarding the phenomenon of such non-student anchors pretending to be students for live broadcasts, Zhu Jie believes that this not only reflects the current online live broadcast environment, but also exposes some platform management problems. Young women, as anchors on live streaming platforms, are often able to attract more viewers and fans, which in turn leads to more attention and gifts. This reflects the audience's preference and pursuit of young women, as well as excessive attention to gender and appearance. Some platforms display such live streams in large numbers in search results, which inadvertently contributes to this labeling phenomenon. It may be that these platforms think that this type of live broadcast is easier to attract viewers, thereby increasing the platform's traffic and revenue, but this practice is undoubtedly irresponsible to the anchor and misleading to the audience.

"Against this backdrop, some streamers may take more radical or inappropriate actions in order to attract more attention, including live broadcasts involving vulgar, pornographic and other content, as well as impersonating the identity of 'female college students'. This not only violates the regulations of the live broadcast platform, but also damages social morality and the bottom line of morality. Zhu Jie said.

Therefore, Zhu Jie suggested that the platform should strengthen the review and management of live broadcast content, strictly control the authenticity and compliance of live broadcast content, and close the live broadcast room and ban accounts for labels that violate laws and regulations. Viewers should improve their ability to distinguish live content, not blindly pursue labeled live broadcasts, but pay attention to truly valuable and meaningful content.

Wang Sixin also proposed that the platform should formulate corresponding rules to clearly prohibit anchors from impersonating other people's identities for live broadcasts and punish violations; At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen the education and training of anchors, guiding them to establish a sense of creditworthiness and consciously abide by relevant regulations.
