A few days ago, Zhidian Travel learned that the BYD Seal U DM-I model will be sold in the European market in the third quarter of this year, and the new car is also the BYD Song PLUS plug-in hybrid model in the domestic market, and simultaneously launched Boost and Comfort two specifications for consumers to buy, and it is expected that the delivery of the new car will start at the end of the third quarter at the earliest.

It is reported that the BYD Seal U DM-I Boost model will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine + electric motor, with a comprehensive maximum power of 160kW and a peak torque of 300N·m, and a 18.3kWh battery pack with a maximum range of 80 km. The Comfort model will be equipped with a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid engine with a combined maximum power of 238 kW and a peak torque of 500 Nm, and a 26.6 kWh battery pack for an all-electric range of up to 126 km.

The interior of the BYD Seal U DM-I will feature a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, LCD digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch rotatable infotainment screen, wireless charging for dual-digit phones, and V2L capabilities. In addition, the new car will come with a warranty of 70% battery capacity for eight years or 200,000 kilometers.
