"We plan to help Miaoganshan Village lay out 200 acres of cherries, 200 acres of bayberry and 200 acres of tea through five years of efforts, and strive to make Miaoganshan Village truly show a thriving industry." Li Haizhen, deputy director of the bureau, said that helping the people of Miaoganshan to develop a good industry and let the income of the masses continue to improve on the original basis is the greatest wish of all cadres and workers of the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau.
In addition to helping Miaoganshan Village vigorously develop the economic forest and fruit industry, the Nujiang Forestry and Grassland Bureau also actively applied for a 2,000-acre forest tending project for Miaoganshan Village around the requirements of the state party committee and the state government on reciting the "Shanshui Sutra" and playing the "ecological card", laying the foundation for the development of the underforest economy.
In the future, the Nujiang Forestry and Grassland Bureau also plans to help the village concentrate on the development of vegetable planting, and take advantage of the time difference with the first line along the river to provide summer-sown vegetables for the Liuku urban area to help the masses increase their income.
