——The third "Learning, Thinking, Acting and Understanding" Junior High School Chinese Teacher Skills Competition in Huishui County came to a successful conclusion
On the afternoon of May 17, 2024, the 3rd Huishui County "Learning, Thinking, Doing and Understanding" Classroom Teaching Reform Teacher Skills Competition was successfully concluded in Huishui County No. 4 Middle School.
This competition is to promote the discipline construction of the 2024 Basic Education Quality Improvement Project in Ethnic Areas and the Teacher Skills Competition under the Background of the 3rd "Learning, Thinking, Action, and Understanding" Classroom Teaching Reform, which is sponsored by the Huishui County Education Bureau and undertaken by the No. 4 Middle School of Huishui County. During the competition, Lei Shipeng, principal of Huishui County No. 4 Middle School, came to listen to the class, carefully recorded, and constantly encouraged the participating teachers between classes; Teacher Yang Yun from the Teaching and Research Department of Huishui County Education Bureau participated in the whole process and laid a solid foundation for the smooth development of the competition.
The competition is divided into three parts: classroom display, class observation and evaluation, and proposition design.
The class presentation session was wonderful. For example, when Ms. Pan Yuanyuan was teaching the article "The Last Speech", she skillfully used a vivid animated video introduction, which instantly attracted the attention of students and made them quickly immerse themselves in the situation of the text.
Teacher Liu Feiyu organized students to role-play in class, and through the students' vivid interpretation, they deeply understood the characters and emotions in the text. He was also very meticulous in his evaluations, giving specific and encouraging comments on each student's performance.
After class, teachers worked hard to write a lesson observation and evaluation script, deeply analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the classroom from different angles, elaborated their own insights and suggestions, and further deepened their understanding and thinking about teaching. It not only affirmed the successes, but also put forward practical suggestions for improvement, and promoted the common improvement of teachers' teaching level.
In the design of the test questions, the teachers closely followed the syllabus and the concept of the new curriculum standards, and carefully ordered targeted, innovative and inspiring test questions. These test questions not only test students' mastery of knowledge, but also pay more attention to the cultivation of students' thinking ability and comprehensive literacy.
After two days of fierce competition, the judges and teachers awarded the first, second and third prizes in Group A and Group B, and according to the results of the competition, it was finally determined that Teacher Pan Yuanyuan and Teacher Zhou Li of Group A, and Teacher Liu Feiyu of Group B continued to participate in the 2024 Junior High School Chinese Teacher Skills Competition of the "Guided Learning, Practice, Exhibition and Evaluation" classroom teaching mode under the background of the "Learning, Thinking, Doing and Understanding" classroom teaching reform in Qiannan Prefecture in 2024.
The junior high school Chinese teacher skills competition comprehensively demonstrated the teaching achievements of junior high school Chinese teachers in Huishui County under the background of "learning, thinking, acting, and understanding" classroom teaching reform, and provided a platform for teachers to learn from each other, communicate and improve. It is believed that by holding such activities, the high-quality development of junior high school Chinese teaching in Huishui County will be further promoted and a solid foundation will be laid for cultivating more outstanding students.
