According to relevant departments, the use of Hainan West Ring high-speed rail and freight line Sanya to Ledong (Lingtou) section of the public transport tourism train transformation project (hereinafter referred to as Sanya to Ledong public transport tourism railway transformation project) successfully passed the operation safety assessment work, the project has entered the final operation preparation stage, is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in July this year.

A few days ago, China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. organized 17 professional teams such as Kexin, passenger transport, freight transport, transportation, and locomotive maintenance to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the operational safety preparations and project legacy of the Sanya-Ledong public transport tourism railway reconstruction project by listening to reports, sampling data, adding test trains, and on-site verification. The project successfully passed the safety assessment, laying a solid foundation for the project to be completed and opened to traffic as scheduled.
At present, the participating units of the Sanya-Ledong public transport tourism railway reconstruction project are aiming at the opening node, and according to the safety assessment results, they will comprehensively organize the rectification of the problems existing in the operation preparation and the remaining aspects of the project, so as to ensure that the rectification of the sales number is completed as scheduled. According to the relevant person in charge of China Railway 12th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the unit is responsible for more than 200 builders in the front 3 bid section of the station according to the node goal, fighting on the front line of construction, making full use of the large skylight plan construction, accelerating the rectification of the sales number, and ensuring that the project is completed and opened to traffic as scheduled.
As a provincial key livelihood project, the Sanya-Ledong public transportation and tourism railway reconstruction project has built 5 stations including Lingtou, Liguo Town, Zhenhai, Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City, and Hongtang Bay, and rebuilt and expanded 5 stations including Yazhou, Nanshanbei, Tianya Haijiao, Phoenix Airport, and Sanya Station by using the existing 3 stations such as Jianfeng, Huangliu and Ledong. The project started construction in November 2020, with a total length of about 108.8 kilometers, of which 74.105 kilometers will be used by the West Ring High-speed Railway and 23.79 kilometers will be used by the West Ring Freight Line.
