Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. is recalling some second-generation CS55PLUS vehicles
A few days ago, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. It has been decided to recall a total of 203414 units of some second-generation CS55PLUS vehicles manufactured between July 8, 2021 and March 14, 2023 with immediate effect.
In some vehicles covered by this recall, due to deviations in the infotainment control unit software, the image display of the 360° surround view camera may be abnormal, which will affect the driver's vision when reversing, increase the risk of vehicle collision, and pose a potential safety hazard.
Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. will use the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology to upgrade the software for the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, and users can complete the software upgrade without visiting the store to eliminate potential safety hazards.
The recall was carried out in the context of a defect investigation initiated by the State Administration for Market Regulation. Affected by the investigation, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. decided to take recall measures to eliminate potential safety hazards.
Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. is recalling some of the JAC iEVA50 pure electric vehicles
A few days ago, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products". It has been decided to recall some JAC iEVA50 pure electric vehicles produced from February 14, 2019 to June 18, 2019, a total of 1,266 units.
Due to the software strategy of the battery management system for some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the pressure difference between the cells inside some power batteries gradually becomes larger when the vehicle has not been maintained in the store for a long time, and the voltage difference exceeding the design value may lead to the limited power of the vehicle.
The recall was carried out in the context of a defect investigation initiated by the State Administration for Market Regulation. Affected by the investigation, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. will upgrade the battery management system software for free to the vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.
