The "Yuanjian Epitaph" stone is 43 centimeters long and 46 centimeters wide. The title of the inscription is at the end of the chronicle, which is "the epitaph of King Wuchang". Zhiwen 19 lines, full line 19 characters, regular script. In 1928, it was unearthed in Qianhaizi Village, north of Luoyang City, and in 1935, Mr. Yu Youren donated it to Xi'an Stele Forest.
"Yuan Jian Epitaph" is a representative of the bold and honest calligraphy works of the Northern Wei Dynasty.
