On the afternoon of May 17th, Dezhou Invalids Hospital, together with volunteers from Dezhou Volunteer Service Federation, Weiai, Sunshine, Loctite Liangjia, Invalides Nursing Hospital and other branches, carried out a public welfare activity of foot bathing and health care for Linyi recuperation and preferential care objects.
At the event, the volunteers gave one-on-one health foot massages, and the veteran volunteers who were physically challenged provided them with individual services, giving them foot baths and trimming their nails at the same time. Professional meridian massage, skilled techniques, and warm service have won unanimous praise from veterans. There are more than 60 acupuncture points on the feet connected to the human body, and foot therapy plays a role in the mechanism of the whole body through the stimulation of the feet, increases metabolism, promotes the absorption of nutrients, reduces the occurrence of diseases, and plays a role in health care.
Through volunteer service activities, it not only provides high-quality health services for veterans, improves health awareness, promotes the development of healthy behaviors, but also injects new vitality into the construction of a harmonious society.
