Deliver the boy home safely

Recently, a 10-year-old boy in the satellite community of Shixi Town, Nanchuan District, was accidentally lost, and with the guidance and support of the Criminal Investigation Corps and the Special Police Corps of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau, as well as the participation and assistance of the party and government departments and enthusiastic people in the district, the Nanchuan District Public Security Bureau successfully found the boy in 45 hours and delivered it to his relatives safely.

"Comrade policeman, my grandson is missing, please help me find it!" At about 17 o'clock on May 13, 2024, the police of Shixi Police Station received a call from Grandma Chen, a member of the public in the jurisdiction, saying that her grandson was 10 years old this year and had cognitive impairment.

After receiving the police, the police immediately rushed to the scene, while comforting the anxious Grandma Chen, while learning more about the boy's missing location, time and physical characteristics. Subsequently, the police quickly launched an investigation and organized local people who were familiar with the terrain to search for the lost location. Because the location where the boy went missing was next to the mountain forest, which was wide and complex, and the sky was getting late, the sight was getting worse and worse, and the search team searched for the boy all night but still did not find the boy.

The more minutes your child is outside, the more dangerous it is. The police immediately reported the search situation to the command center of the district bureau, and requested additional police support, on the basis of manual search, the combination of drone aerial search and police dog ground search to expand the search area and improve the accuracy of the search. The Criminal Investigation Corps of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Special Police Corps and the police forces of the District Bureau quickly rushed to the scene to participate in the search and rescue. In the air, the special police focused on the lost point and used drones to search the sky over a radius of several tens of square kilometers. On the ground, the criminal police carried police dogs and went deep into the mountains with various search groups to carry out carpet searches.

At about 2 o'clock in the afternoon of the 15th, the search and rescue team found the boy by a small ditch at the bottom of the mountain. After on-site examination by medical staff, the child was found to be fine except for his weak body. The police handed the boy over to his grandfather and told him to take good care of the child to prevent dangerous situations such as getting lost again. Seeing the grandson who returned safely, the boy's grandparents wiped their tears and thanked them repeatedly.
