The first Northeast Book Fair, with the theme of "Meet in auspicious places and enjoy the fragrance of books together", was held at the Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 17th to 19th. As the first large-scale book trade fair jointly held by three provinces and one region in Northeast China, it aims to use books as a medium to display the achievements of industrial development, build an industry exchange platform, and present a wonderful cultural feast for the majority of readers.
The main venue is located in Hall 1-5 of Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center, covering an area of more than 21,000 square meters, with a total of 12 exhibition areas, including theme publishing, guest of honor group, education theme, high-quality periodicals, import and export books, Jiyun Books, City Publishing House Consortium, folk publishing, digital and intelligent animation experience, intangible cultural heritage, national publishing and distribution, and museum distribution transactions.
Xinhua bookstores with local characteristics in 12 cities (prefectures) and counties in Jilin Province have set up branch venues, and various live broadcast platforms have opened 16 online branch venues.
In this year's Book Fair, more than 100 activities of various kinds were held at the main venue and offline and online branch venues. Among them, there are 21 key activities, including professional forums to discuss the development trend of the industry, literary forums with the participation of famous artists, and cultural industry investment conferences.
Each exhibitor also held special activities such as book release, famous book signing, and interactive experience.
It has also launched a policy to benefit the people, so that readers can not only feel the rich fragrance of massive books, participate in various activities, but also enjoy book purchase discounts and experience a cultural journey full of book charm and happiness.
