On May 16, 2024, Lianyungang Rescue and Protection Center for Minors, together with Jinping Town People's Government, Jinping Central Primary School and Zhijia Social Work Office, successfully held a life education activity of "Hand in Hand, Happy Growth - Enhance Inner Kinetic Energy and Bloom a Wonderful Life" in Jinping Central Primary School. The purpose of the activity is to help students understand and discover the beauty of life, cultivate their positive attitude towards life, and stimulate their love and yearning for life.
At the beginning of the activity, the social worker guided the students to realize that the "good things" in life are everywhere through vivid explanations and interactions, but we need to discover them with our hearts. In a relaxed and happy atmosphere, the students began to think about and share the beautiful moments they had experienced. These sharing not only enhanced the understanding of each other, but also made the students realize that life is full of beautiful and cherished moments.
Subsequently, the activity entered the in-depth phase. Under the guidance of social workers, students began to think and plan for their future. They write down their hopes and aspirations and think about how to achieve them. Through this link, students not only exercised their thinking skills, but also clarified their life goals and directions.
In the wrap-up phase, students are encouraged to live in the present moment and discover and feel the beauty of the moment. They wrote down their three good things at the moment on the worksheet and shared them according to the specified sentence pattern. This session made students more deeply realize that the beauty in life is actually all around us, as long as we feel and discover it with our hearts.
At the end of the activity, the social worker re-tested the students' good feelings of life scores, and found that the students' scores had improved significantly compared with before class. This fully proves the success and effectiveness of this life education activity.
The success of this life education activity not only provided a platform for students to learn and grow, but also gave them a deep understanding of the beauty and value of life. I believe that in the future, these children will carry this love and yearning for life, move forward bravely, and bloom into a more wonderful life.
