It is reported that the hybrid version of the model will use Toyota's hybrid technology, and the official said that it will be a hybrid model equipped with a horizontal facing engine. Elsewhere, Subaru also plans to launch three electric SUVs with the help of Toyota, and is seen as a version of Subaru's Solterra, the Solterra with the bZ4X, one of which will be assembled by Toyota in the United States, and the other will be produced by Subaru at its Yashima plant in Japan. The three electric SUVs will go on sale by the end of 2026, while other EVs developed in-house by Subaru will be available in 2028.
