In May 2023, in order to enhance residents' awareness of garbage classification and the concept of low-carbon environmental protection, the community party branch and neighborhood committee of Qinyuan Chunjing Community, Doudian Town, as the second batch of garbage classification demonstration communities in Beijing, selected 16 garbage classification demonstration families, and at the same time set up a garbage classification demonstration family WeChat group, each family shares garbage classification photos in the WeChat group once a day, which not only provides a platform for everyone to learn from each other, but also supervises and promotes each other, and the garbage classification instructor can also give timely supervision and guidance when he finds problems.
In 2024, in order to comprehensively enhance the communication and influence of community garbage classification demonstration families, give full play to the power of role models, consolidate the results of classification, and stimulate the enthusiasm of more residents to participate, through the driving force of garbage classification demonstration families, another 16 families will voluntarily join the work of garbage classification demonstration families, striving to be practitioners and pioneers of garbage classification, and jointly build a better home, and the number of garbage classification demonstration families has doubled, a total of 32 households.
In the next step, Doudian Town will take the Qinyuan Chunjing Community Garbage Classification Demonstration Family as an excellent case to promote the new model of garbage classification publicity, continue to do a good job in this "key little thing", promote the deepening and practical classification of domestic waste, help consolidate and improve the community garbage classification work to a new level, and boost the construction of "Common Prosperity Pilot Town".
