——Tianliao Primary School's 2024 Spring Semester Spiritual Care Lecture Series Ended Successfully
In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and actively respond to the call of "attaching equal importance to mental health and mental health", our school takes moral cultivation as the foundation, strengthens students' mental health education, helps students gain insight into their own emotions, and unlocks the way of efficient emotional management. On the afternoon of May 11, 2024, under the guidance of the party building, Tianliao Primary School specially invited Dai Xianghua, a master of applied psychology and management and a national second-level psychological counselor, to bring a unique lecture on emotional stress management and relief to the children.
At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Dai skillfully used brain maps to let the children intuitively understand the mysteries of the brain and emotions. In the soft words, the children closed their eyes lightly, felt the intertwined collision of thoughts and emotions, and started a spiritual journey. Ms. Dai explained the identification methods of anxiety and depression from four aspects: psychology, physiology, movement and diet, and taught a series of practical skills to help children cope with emotional challenges calmly. The children listened with relish and recorded their spiritual growth with their pens.
In addition to theoretical teaching, Ms. Dai also guided the children to use a paintbrush to depict the "man in the rain" in their hearts, concretizing the invisible pressure and emotion, so that the hidden emotions can be vented. At the end of the lecture, the children shouted loudly under the leadership of Teacher Dai to release their inner pressure; Adjust your emotions through hand exercises and butterfly beats, and finally return to calm by counting your breaths and feel the peace and harmony of your soul.
Mr. Dai's lecture not only has a profound theoretical background, but also is full of interest and interactivity, which won warm applause and unanimous praise from the children. After the lecture, the children shared their insights and gains, saying that they should pay more attention to their own emotional changes, treat others with empathy, and improve their ability to cope with stress.
The success of this lecture not only made the children realize the importance of emotional management, but also provided them with a golden key to unlock their spiritual growth. In the future, our school will continue to deepen mental health education and create a warm, friendly and harmonious growth environment for children, so that every flower of the soul can bloom under the sunshine.
