On Monday, the Ministry of Finance announced the issuance arrangements for ultra-long-term special treasury bonds, and this morning (17th), the 30-year ultra-long-term special treasury bonds will be officially issued.
According to the issuance arrangement, the first 30-year ultra-long-term special treasury bonds are fixed-rate interest-bearing bonds, with a total amount of 40 billion yuan. The coupon rate will be determined this morning after a competitive tender by a consortium of underwriters from 56 financial institutions. In terms of the principal and interest payment date, the interest on the current treasury bonds will be calculated from May 20, 2024, and the interest will be paid semi-annually, with the interest payment dates being May 20 and November 20 of each year, and the principal will be repaid and the last interest will be paid on May 20, 2054.
The reporter learned from the Central Clearing Company that preparations have been made for the issuance of ultra-long-term special treasury bonds.

Carry out the simulation and verification of the whole process of the issuance business to ensure the smooth development of the issuance work.
According to the notice of the Ministry of Finance, the tender for this issue of treasury bonds will end until May 20, 2024 for distribution, and they will be listed and traded from May 22.
