In order to strengthen the understanding of metrology among young people, improve their scientific literacy and practical ability, and guide them to develop good eye habits, on May 16, the market supervision bureaus at the two levels in the urban area jointly carried out a publicity activity with the theme of "metrology knowledge into the campus" in Shunnan Street Primary School.
During the activity, the staff of the Market Supervision Bureau explained the basic concepts and importance of metrology to the students in simple terms through vivid cases and interactive questions and answers, as well as its wide application in daily life and scientific research. It allows students to have a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of measurement, and also makes them deeply aware of the application value of measurement in real life.
In view of the current common vision problems of students, the municipal and district market supervision bureaus also invited optical stores related to measurement to participate, explained the knowledge of eye protection to students, and provided free vision testing services, hoping that students can develop correct eye habits and better protect their eyesight.
