In the past few days, at the site of the comprehensive treatment project of Donggou River in Hequ County, a number of excavators and loaders in the river have roared to clean up the gravel, silt and garbage residue on the river beach, and more than 40 construction personnel are building gabion retaining walls on both sides of the river.
Donggou River is a tributary of the Yellow River, originating in Xingzuo Village, Danzhai Township, and finally Henan Village, Xunzhen Town, Hequ County, with a river length of 17.8 kilometers and a basin area of 73.56 square kilometers. In order to ensure the smooth flow of floodwater, the green shore and clear water, ensure the safety of people's lives and property, and ensure the virtuous cycle development of water ecology, our county has strengthened systematic thinking, scientifically planned the layout, and focused on the long-term long-term governance in accordance with the organic and unified standards of flood prevention and flood control, ecological protection, and people's livelihood improvement. Through a series of ecological measures such as river channel improvement, river slope protection, embankment foot erosion prevention and reinforcement, new protective fences, as well as a series of ecological treatments such as planting trees and river greening, the Donggou River has played an excellent role in conserving groundwater and improving the local ecological environment on the basis of ensuring the safety of flooding.
Hequ County adheres to the protection of the ecology of the Yellow River Basin as the benchmark for planning and promoting high-quality development, continuously consolidates the foundation of the ecological environment, and launches the comprehensive river treatment project of the Louziying section of the Wujiagou River, the Xunzhen section of the Donggou River and the flood control capacity improvement project of the Zhujiachuan River, and takes multiple measures to achieve clear water and clean banks in the meandering section of the Yellow River. At the same time, with the "three rivers and three roads" governance as the traction, led by the department and responsible for the township, the "three rivers" normalization of the carpet investigation, focusing on cleaning up and rectifying the floating debris, production and domestic waste and new "four chaos" problems within the river management area, to ensure that the water shoreline is clean and clean. The county urban construction and transportation bureau, the county planning and natural resources bureau, the county agriculture and water conservancy bureau, the county comprehensive administrative law enforcement bureau and other departments, as well as relevant townships and towns, continue to intensify the rectification on the basis of consolidating the results of rectification. Enterprises and illegal buildings along the river that pollute the environment and obstruct flood flow have been demolished and cleaned up in accordance with laws and regulations. With the deepening of the "Clean River" action and the continuous promotion of the ecological restoration and management of rivers and shorelines in the county, the ecological environment of the Yellow River Basin has been protected at a high level, and the ecological background of high-quality development has been planted.
