On May 16, the 34th "National Day for the Disabled" and the 25th "Shanghai Week for the Disabled" theme publicity activities in Yangpu District were held in the 228 neighborhood of Changbai. Focusing on the theme of this year's "Science and Technology for the Disabled, Sharing a Better Life", the Yangpu Science and Technology Public Welfare Enterprise Alliance for the Disabled was launched at the event ceremony, and 18 enterprises and units joined hands to build a public welfare platform, unite social care, and promote the power of science and technology to bring a more warm quality of life to the disabled.

At the event, the "Exercise Intervention Clinic" of the 1+7 Medical Consortium in South Yangpu was launched, which will provide more scientific, personalized and forward-looking health protection for residents in the district, including the disabled. According to the relevant person in charge of Changbai Community Health Service Center, the sports clinic will first carry out exercise ability risk assessment for the "three highs" population, issue personalized exercise prescriptions, and implement three modes of hospital in-hospital intervention, offline institutional intervention, and home online intervention, carry out scientific exercise guidance, and continuously improve the health level of residents in the form of sports and medicine integration. It is understood that the "exercise intervention clinic" of Changbai Community Health Service Center is open from 13:30 to 16:30 in the afternoon from Monday to Friday.
The Yangpu District Sunshine Service Smart Disability Assistance Platform, jointly created by the Yangpu District Disabled Persons' Federation and Xiaolintong, was also officially launched, providing more than 100 one-stop life service appointments for the disabled. In addition, the event also set up four exhibition areas for science and technology to help the disabled, health to help the disabled, financial assistance to the disabled, and life assistance to the disabled, to further create an atmosphere of helping the disabled, deepen the concept of integration of the disabled and the healthy, and convey care and respect to the disabled group with sunshine action.
In recent years, Yangpu has deeply practiced the concept of people's city, focusing on the sharing of high-quality life by people with disabilities, and striving to build a demonstration area for the construction of a barrier-free environment for waterfront public spaces with "one river and one river".
