On May 15, co-sponsored by the Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and co-organized by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Kunming Yangzonghai Scenic Area, the 2024 graduates of Yunnan Vocational College of Land and Resources Vocational College
249 enterprises and institutions from more than 20 provinces and cities including Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Anhui, Gansu, Shanxi, Yunnan, Haikou and Qidong participated in the job fair. A total of more than 12,000 jobs are provided, covering manufacturing, construction, surveying and mapping, geology, tourism, culture, media, environment, software and information technology services, business services, product research and development and technical services, etc., to meet the employment needs of graduates with different professional backgrounds. The recruitment targets are the graduates of the class of 2024 and those who have not been employed within two years of graduation and the class of 2025 of 6,636 students who are about to undertake on-the-job internships and modern apprenticeships.
Employment is the biggest project of people's livelihood, people's support and foundation, and an important guarantee for social stability. The school thoroughly implements the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on promoting the employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates, continuously deepens the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, takes the modern apprenticeship system as the starting point to promote the high-quality employment of students, pays close attention to the implementation of the "number one" responsibility, and always puts the employment and entrepreneurship of graduates in the first place in the school's work. After years of development, Yunnan Vocational College of Land and Resources has become the main training base for high-quality skilled talents in land and resources in the western region.
Graduates are rooted in the fields of land and resources, geology and mining, jewelry industry, radiation city construction, machinery and electronics, tourism and hotels, among which geological talents are all over the land departments and geology and mining industries in more than 20 provinces (cities and districts) and 129 counties (cities and districts) in the province. The job fair also set up a conscription policy publicity point, a post-secondary education consultation point, and an employment and entrepreneurship service point for female college students to provide students with one-stop warm-hearted services.
The successful holding of the job fair has effectively promoted the early, full and high-quality employment of school graduates, and laid the foundation for further deepening school-enterprise cooperation.
