What is Straw

The ban on straw burning refers to the behavior of farmers to burn crop straw with fire, because there are many harms of straw burning, so we usually prohibit straw burning.

In the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishments, the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Forest Law of the People's Republic of China, there are clear prohibitions on straw burning, and there are corresponding punishment measures. Functional departments at all levels will, in accordance with the principle of investigation of smoke, prohibition of fire, and punishment of burning, strictly investigate and severely punish the illegal acts of open burning of straw, and those who refuse or obstruct the prohibition of straw burning in the performance of their official duties will be punished by the public security organs in accordance with the relevant regulations, and those who constitute a crime will be investigated for criminal responsibility in accordance with the law.
We propose:
1. Establish an awareness of ecological and environmental protection, fully understand the serious harm of open burning of straw, and consciously do not burn straw or pile straw indiscriminately.
2. Actively respond to the call, take the initiative to publicize and persuade family, neighbors, relatives and friends, and do not ignite a fire or smoke.
3. Everyone should participate and act as a whole, starting from me, and resolutely resist the illegal act of burning garbage and straw.
4. Actively carry out the comprehensive utilization of straw, and everyone strives to be a leader in resource recycling and turning waste into treasure.
