"Attention all! Attention all! Immediately enter cover for concealment. With the urgent order of the leader of the medical detachment, the peacekeepers quickly put on protective gear. The emergency combat team quickly collected weapons and ammunition to occupy a vantage point, closely monitored the surrounding situation, and the rest of the personnel assembled and went to the designated bunker to stand by.

During this period, the detachment interspersed medical treatment courses. After receiving a request for treatment of the "wounded," the medical treatment team immediately carried out on-the-spot emergency treatment of the "wounded" officers and men, and then transferred the "wounded" to the rescue room for fluid replenishment and anti-shock treatment, and monitored the vital signs of the "wounded" at any time.

At the end of the exercise, UNIFIL inspectors from the Eastern Sector inspected the personnel structure, weapons and equipment, medical supplies and combat readiness and daily necessities in the two protective bunkers of the detachment one by one, and used the communication facilities in the bunkers to communicate with the Eastern Sector Command and reported that the Chinese medical peacekeeping detachment met the requirements of the exercise standards.

"During the whole exercise, I found that the personnel of the Chinese medical detachment were very full of spirit, responded quickly, the commanders had clear thinking, and all kinds of combat readiness materials in the bunkers were very complete, which left a very deep impression on me." UNIFIL inspector Mondria praised.

It has been learned that since its deployment in December last year, in view of the severe and complex security situation in the current mission area, the detachment has carried out various emergency defense drills on a regular basis, continuously improved the ability of officers and men to deal with various threats and avoid various risks, and actively established various communication channels with the UNIFIL command, military observers, civilian personnel, etc., to strengthen the study and assessment of the situation and jointly respond to various changes in the situation.
