Investment, surprise to be cheated, frustrated, call the police, successfully stop payment, lost and regained...... Talking about her experience of being deceived, Ms. Yang sighed. "The so-called 'low risk, high return', 'expert guidance, steady profit and no loss' are all deceptives, scammers give a set, if you are tempted to get in, the money is not yours."

On March 3, the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Urban District Bureau received a report from Ms. Yang, saying that she had withdrawn money after investing in a wealth management platform after making a profit, but was told by the platform's customer service that her account was frozen due to her operation error, and she needed to continue to recharge before she could withdraw it. After recharging, Ms. Yang found that she was still unable to withdraw, and then realized that she had been deceived, so she called the police and was defrauded of a total of 50,000 yuan.

After receiving the police, the police promptly launched an emergency stop payment procedure for the bank account involved in the case, and made every effort to stop payment for the victim to save the loss, and a "race" between the police and the scammer began, and finally the defrauded money was frozen in time under the rapid stop payment of the police.

"This kind of fraud mainly takes advantage of the victim's psychological characteristics of 'profit-seeking', in the early stage of the fraud, the victim invests a small amount of money to test the waters, and obtains a false 'high income', so that the victim has a wrong sense of trust, and then invests a large amount, resulting in being deceived." Song Jibin, a police officer from the anti-fraud squadron of the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Urban District Bureau, introduced.
