Netizen Wang Moumou forwarded and liked a number of rumor videos of the "Handan Feixiang Incident" on a popular short video platform, including fabricating content such as three suspects tricking the victim into digging a pit together and hitting his face with a shovel, causing onlookers and heated discussions among netizens, causing adverse social impact.
After investigation by the police, many of the contents of the "Handan Feixiang Incident" forwarded by the person were false information, and Wang Moumou confessed to his behavior of spreading rumors, saying that he wanted to use social hot events to win attention and arouse the attention of netizens.
According to Article 25 of the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China", Wang Moumou has been sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention by the public security organs.
