The purpose of this optimization and adjustment is to optimize and solve the traffic congestion problem at the Bailing intersection of Panfu Road in Yuexiu District, further improve the traffic efficiency of the intersection and eliminate potential safety hazards. The Guangzhou traffic police optimized and adjusted the function of the entrance lane of the bridge under the Panfu interchange, added a U-turn lane, and adjusted the setting of signal lights and related identification markings.
Specific measures
1. Adjust the lane function at the lower bridge position of the north entrance (adjusted to 2 groups of straight + U-turn), increase the U-turn radius to ensure a one-time quick U-turn, and set up lane function signs.
2. Adjust the function of the lane at the entrance of the hospital (adjust to 1 left + 1 left + 1 emergency), and move the zebra crossing to the east gate of the hospital (reduce the conflict at the intersection and improve the traffic efficiency).
3. Set up a 4-meter-wide pedestrian passage, set up isolation facilities at the entrance and exit, and set up guardrails on the north and south sides to prevent non-motorized vehicles from entering.
4. Enclose the central canalization island with guardrails to avoid vehicles from using the U-turn lane to illegally park and pick up and drop off passengers.
5. Add a new signal light group to optimize the signal control scheme.
