May 11 to 17, 2024 is the 33rd National Urban Water Conservation Awareness Week. In order to carry out the construction of water-saving cities in depth, water conservation has become a conscious action of every unit, every family and every person. On May 14, the Ecology and Water Resources Protection Bureau of Kunming Yangzonghai Scenic Area and Kunming Yuehai Water Affairs Co., Ltd. jointly launched the theme publicity activity of "Promoting Urban Water Conservation and Building a Beautiful City" to publicize water-saving knowledge to residents in the jurisdiction and advocate water-saving for all.
The activity popularized water-saving knowledge to residents, publicized water-saving behavior norms and urban water-saving concepts, and called on the masses to improve their awareness of water-saving, cherish the rational use of water resources, and develop a good habit of water-saving and water-saving by cherishing and loving water.
A total of more than 260 copies of water-saving brochures and more than 300 copies of promotional materials printed with water-saving slogans were distributed during the event. Through the form of centralized publicity, the activity mobilized the enthusiasm and participation of residents, effectively disseminated the experience and knowledge of water conservation, enhanced the concept of water conservation, and laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of water conservation.
