(1) Summer McIntosh swam 3:59.06 in the women's 400m freestyle final to win the gold and qualify for the Olympics. After this race, she will surpass Australia's Ariarne Titmus in 3:59.13 and temporarily rank first in the world this season.
She won the women's 200m freestyle final with a time of 1:53.69, the second-best time of the year in the world, just behind world record holder Mollie O'Callaghan and just 0.04 seconds behind her own WJ and NR record.
In the women's 100m backstroke, she chose to abstain.
(2) Maggie MacNeil swam 56.61 seconds in the women's 100m butterfly final to win the gold medal and secure an Olympic ticket. She swam a season best of 56.54 seconds in the heats, placing her seventh in the world this season. After this battle, McNeil will lock in his second Olympic Games and officially start defending his title.
Mary-Sophie Harvey finished silver with a strong second half of 57.31 seconds (PB) to secure her second Olympic ticket. It was also the first time that Marie Sophie Xavi broke 58 seconds, improving her personal PB by 0.73 seconds, which she set just last month. Rebecca Smith, who was the first to complete the turn, swam 57.89 seconds to win the bronze medal and meet the Olympic A standard. Although he did not get a ticket to the Olympics, he is expected to break into Paris through the relay quota.
(3) Mary-Sophie Harvey is in hot form, swimming two individual PBs and earning two Olympic tickets. She swam 57.31 seconds in the women's 100m butterfly final and 1:55.44 in the women's 200m freestyle final, winning two silver medals.
(4) Kylie Masse won the women's 100m backstroke final, swimming the fourth best time of her career in 57.94 seconds, ranking fourth in the world this year. A medallist from her previous two Olympic Games, Kelly Marseille remains a strong medal contender for Paris, ahead of world record holders, Australia's Kaylee McKeown and the United States' Regan Smith.
Ingrid Wilm finished second and sealed her ticket to Paris with Kelly Marsee in 59.31 seconds. Taylor Ruck set a new personal high for the season, finishing third in 59.78 seconds, also meeting the Olympic A standard.
