In the past few days, the beautiful rural road project of X009 Qiaotou-Wubao Highway (Longtan Town to Wubao Town) in Gongjing District is seizing the favorable opportunity and going all out to speed up the construction progress of the project.
At the construction site, only to see several transport trucks, muck trucks, excavators, road rollers and other large machinery shuttle back and forth, the construction personnel are rushing to repair the new bridge, Wenjiawan Bridge, cutting and straightening, earth and stone backfill, roadbed rolling operation, the scene is in full swing.
"We seize the favorable weather, complete the main construction of the two bridges before the flood season, and strive to complete the asphalt paving of the road surface by the end of the year, and reach the conditions for opening to traffic as soon as possible." The head of the project told reporters.
Gongjing District X009 Qiaotou - Wubao Highway (Longtan Town to Wubao Town Section) is the only passage connecting Wubao Town and Longtan Town, and is also the main road connecting Wubao Town and Zigong City, which is related to the travel of tens of thousands of people in Wubao, Longtan and other towns and the development of industries along the line.
It is understood that the original Guanwu Road was built in Gongjing District in 2015 in accordance with the standards of rural roads, due to the large curves, steep slopes, narrow road surfaces, there are potential safety hazards, and now relying on the construction of beautiful villages, the file is upgraded.
In March this year, Gongjing District X009 Qiaotou - Wubao Highway (Longtan Town to Wubao Town Section) Beautiful Rural Road Project issued a construction order, with a total investment of 89 million yuan, a total length of 18 kilometers, according to the standard construction of three-level highways, the design speed of 30km/h, the roadbed is 7.5 meters wide, and the asphalt concrete pavement is used.
After the completion of the project, it will further promote the development of industrial belts along the route, accelerate the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, improve the traffic capacity along the line, provide a more convenient traffic environment for the surrounding people, and at the same time help improve the layout of the regional road network, accelerate the process of urban-rural integration, and accelerate the development of transportation infrastructure in the whole region.
In recent years, the Transportation Bureau of Gongjing District has continuously promoted the transformation and upgrading of rural roads, improved the road conditions and road appearance of rural roads in our district, improved the quality of highway traffic, and further promoted the coordinated and sustainable development of construction, management, maintenance and transportation.
