In order to effectively curb garden pests and diseases, the Tianshan District Garden Management Bureau has deployed in advance, with the working principle of "prevention first, comprehensive prevention and control", and organized professional and technical personnel to carry out pest control work to ensure the healthy growth of garden plants and make every effort to create a safe, ecological and livable urban environment.
Recently, our bureau has mainly sprayed drugs manually, medicine trucks, combined with pruning and shaping of landscaping, to carry out the prevention and control of plant diseases and pests such as aphids, bugs, small silverfish, elm jumping elephants, etc. In order to avoid the traffic congestion caused by the spraying of medicine trucks during the day and the inconvenience caused by the dispersion of drugs to the public, the staff sprayed pesticides and insects on the main and secondary roads, parks and squares and other green plants in the main and secondary roads of the city, parks and squares at night, so as to ensure that there is no omission and full coverage, and timely curb the occurrence of landscaping pests and diseases. And according to the different ecological characteristics of landscaping plants, prune the overgrown branches appropriately, balance the tree potential, ensure the good growth situation and landscape effect of the greening trees, cut off the dead branches, weak branches, diseased and insect branches, etc., and completely remove the overwintering insect cysts, stinging moth cocoons and other overwintering pests.
