In the flower shed, the workers wear gloves and hold scissors to pick in an orderly manner, and the outdoor processing shed is full of flowers, and the workers skillfully pick, sort, bundle, pack and put them into storage, a busy scene.
In 2021, in order to seek a way to increase income and get rich through characteristic agriculture, Puchun Town invested 3 million yuan through investment promotion to build a flower planting base of more than 70 acres with the model of "general party branch + company + cooperative + farmer", mainly planting 5 high-end rose varieties such as "cappuccino", "champagne" and "Julieta", which were shipped to Kunming Dounan Market for auction, and also exported to Russia with orders, with an annual output value of more than 20 million yuan, driving the annual income of the village collective economy to increase by more than 30 yuan.
Today, the flower industry has become the backbone of the village. The base attracts villagers to participate in land, labor and other factors, providing jobs for more than 80 villagers, engaged in daily management, transplanting seedlings, transporting fertilizers, packaging flowers, etc., which not only solves the employment problem of some villagers, but also expands the income channels of villagers, and the villagers can increase their income by more than 50,000 yuan per year.
Pu Meihua, a villager from Group 2 of Libidian Village, has been working here for more than a year, packing bouquets in the workshop every day, or going to the ground to comb buds and clear piles. She said: "Now that I work here, my income is very stable, I can get four or five thousand yuan a month, and I am very close to home, and I can take care of my family, I feel very good." ”
In the next step, Puchun Town will continue to explore a new path for the development of the flower industry, take the flower industry as a key industry for rural revitalization, increase planting varieties, drive villagers to plant, and form an industrial chain integrating flower cultivation, planting and sales, so that the flower industry will gradually embark on the road of large-scale, scientific and sustainable development, and become an important way for villagers to increase their income and get rich, injecting new impetus into rural revitalization.
