Ouyang An, Director of the Tourism Office of the People's Republic of China in Tokyo, said in his speech that he looked forward to all the guests attending the promotion meeting, especially friends in the travel industry, to become messengers to promote Zhangjiajie and organize more and more Japanese people to travel to Zhangjiajie to feel and appreciate the style of Zhangjiajie. Shinichi Chiba, a representative of the Japan Travel Industry Association, said in his speech that Zhangjiajie is world-renowned and has always been a scenic spot that many Japanese people want to visit. It is hoped that through the promotion activities, more Japanese people can have a comprehensive understanding of Zhangjiajie, enter Zhangjiajie, and promote Sino-Japanese cultural and tourism exchanges.
Kenichi Omori, the representative of Hankyu Transportation Co., Ltd., introduced the Zhangjiajie tourism products that his travel agency has launched based on his experience of visiting Zhangjiajie many times. He said his travel agency will continue to carry out promotional activities from this autumn to convey the charm of Zhangjiajie to more Japanese people.
At the promotion meeting, the Zhangjiajie tourism recommendation officer comprehensively introduced Zhangjiajie's rich cultural tourism resources and related tourism products. After the meeting, the guests had extensive exchanges with the delegation of Zhangjiajie City, and the tourism enterprises of the two sides discussed how to further promote and launch Zhangjiajie tourism products in Japan and develop the Japanese tourism market. A number of Japanese travel agencies said that they are full of confidence in doing a good job in Zhangjiajie tourism routes.
Also attending the event were the Tourism Agency of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan, the Japan Government Tourism Organization, the Japan Association of Travel Agents, representatives of the Japanese tourism industry and the media.
