Yu Qing, a grower in Feilong Village, said: "In recent years, the price of nectarines has been relatively stable, with a price of about 4 yuan per kilogram, a yield of 3 to 4 tons per mu, and an output value of more than 10,000 yuan. ”
According to local villagers, nectarines have been cultivated in Feilong Village for more than 20 years. In recent years, we have strengthened the management of peach orchards, and constantly introduced new technologies and new varieties, peaches not only reaped a bumper harvest, but also attracted merchants from Yuxi, Kunming and other places to order because of their good appearance, large fruit, thick meat, sweet taste, resistance to transportation and storage.
Buyer Yang Qiongying said: "The taste of Feilong nectarines is very good, crisp and sweet, and it is very popular in the Kunming market, we come here every day to buy about 1.4 tons, and we have been buying for more than ten days. ”
Rooted in the "soil", Feilong nectarines have grown because of "special", and have taken off with "production", and have paved a road of high-quality development of modern agriculture. In recent years, relying on the unique natural environment, the Feilong Village Committee has vigorously developed nectarine, cherry, bayberry and other characteristic fruit industries, including the development of more than 1,500 acres of nectarine planting, more than 500 acres of cherries, and more than 600 acres of bayberry, and it is expected to achieve a total output value of more than 2,000 yuan of special fruits in 2024, bringing a sum of "sweet" income to fruit farmers.
Yu Xuexing, secretary of the general party branch and director of the village committee of Feilong Village, said that the next step will be to introduce some new varieties, improve the varieties currently planted, and further strive for project funds and improve infrastructure. In addition, it is planned to build a fruit trading market to provide convenience for the masses in fruit trading.
