On May 15, 2024, the press conference of the cinema film "Snow in Saibei" with the theme of "Paying Tribute to the Spirit of Agricultural Reclamation and Writing the Chapter of the Times" was held in the New Media Building of Beijing People's Daily.
The movie "Snow in Saibei" is a drama that reflects the construction and development of the Saibei area of Zhangjiakou under the correct leadership of the party for decades, turning the desert into an oasis, with the development and construction of Saibei as the main background, the successful holding of the Winter Olympics as the context, and the main line of several generations of Saibei farmers who have worked hard for the construction of their hometown and their emotional life, telling the story of several generations of Saibei farmers who have worked hard and made progress for the construction of the motherland and the development of their hometown. The film fully interprets Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization, shows a beautiful picture of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, highlights the great achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and writes a strong stroke for the post-Olympic economy and the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou sports and cultural tourism belt.
The play is co-starred by famous performing artists Liu Peiqi, Yan Xuejing, Wu Jingan, Liu Yunran, Liu Mingyang, etc., and was originally created by Ms. Shangding, the "most influential" screenwriter in China, and joined by the cutting-edge director Feng Zihua.
